In early 1960's the government of Taiwan started to developeconomical plans to allure capital from overseas. Wan Chengand Tian Ken Cheng, two successful brothers in Japan,engaged in various projects in response to the Taiwanesegovernment's official invitation. Hotel Tainan was one oftheir business establishments within the projects.Recognized as the most advanced and only qualified hotelfor international modern standards in southern region ofTaiwan, the establishment open on November 29, 1964 aftertwo years of construction.Since its opening, Hotel Tainan has proudly gained thereputation as Tainan's city icon under its strongmanagement team.
