Rubbertek Industrial Co., Ltd. was founded on January 1,1989 by Mr. Yao-Hui Chen and Mr. Lang-Ping Cheng.Rubbertek's primary line of business consists of producingrubber rollers used in fax machines and light rubber ballsin computer mouse. Rubbertek was the first company inTaiwan to manufacture rubber rollers and light balls. Theseproducts are known for its high quality which conforms tointernational standards.In 1992, due to increased market demand, Rubbertekcollected foreign investment and expertise and invited Mr.Andy Soong & Mr. Jee-Hwan Cho to serve as the boardchairman. Under everybody's efforts, Rubbertex became thefirst company in Taiwan to develop and manufacture rubbercomponents (i.e. rubber rollers and rubber pads) forautomatic document feeders for fax machines. We jointlydeveloped rubber rollers for laser printers together withIndustrial Technology Research Institute Electro-Optics &Peripherals Development Center (one governmental researchorganization). In the same year, Rubbertex decided tomanufacture its own metal shafts to match its rubber partsinstead of purchasing the shafts from other suppliers andacquired 6 automatic precision lathe machines tomanufacture metal shafts concurrently, because Rubbertexsignificantly decreased its production cost for rubberrollers. Rubbertex promulgated a corporate policy whichemphasized customers? satisfaction and on-time delivery.In April of 1995, Rubbertex received its ISO 9002 StandardCertificate from DNVI, (an international qualitycertification organization) and became the first rubberroller production company to be certified in Taiwan.
