In the year of 1976, there was a lack of capital andtechnology in Taiwan. Mr. Charles Lai and Mr. Tony Linfounded a hot forge factory. After 8 years, there were manyother companies that produced DIY tools. The companies grewquickly and caused the prices and quality to go into astate of chaos. The prices and quality were not at thestandards that they are today. Mr. Lin & Lai realized aneed for professional tools in 1984. At this time is whenwe decided to produce professional tools in our company.This was the beginning of a new adventure for King TonyTools. "King Tony" is our brand name, which is knownthroughout the tool industry.
