Taiwan's rapid economic growth in 1980's, fastgrowing and development in industry and commerceconsequently augmented the national living standard. Inresponse to the communication needs of the wholeenvironment and the rapid growth of living standards; giventhe fact that cables and wires were foundational productsfor macroeconomic constructions, and in response to thegovernment's encouragement to industrial elevation, areform was resolved to dedicate ourselves in the field ofphotoelectric technology; sticking to "honest and sincere"as our cooperate philosophy.Our quality policy targets at 'total quality management andcontinuous customer satisfaction'. Our strategy aims at"the most professional fiber optic manufacturer in Taiwan."Hence, Shiner Fiber Optics decided to focus on the R & D ofoptical fiber lamp in 1993. With the enthusiastic supportand recommendation of chief staff Jien of the industrialpromotion committee of the Hsinchu city government, we hadthe chance to cooperate with the Industrial TechnologyResearch Institute and Union Chemical Laboratories and toreceive project guidance from the Bureau of IndustrialDevelopment, MOEA.
