I’m a personal injury lawyer in Hamilton and I’ve practiced on both sides of personal injury law which is why, today, I focus on helping those who have been injured or denied an insurance claim.
I started my career in 1995. I articled with Stanley M. Tick & Associates in Hamilton, where we knew our clients and their families. I often worked on personal injury cases because I was good at it and it made a difference in people’s lives.
After earning my Master of Laws degree (with merit) from the London School of Economics in 1997, I became a partner at a boutique Toronto defense firm that dealt exclusively in insurance defense litigation. Now I was on the other side and this experience taught me how large insurance companies operate. I learnt first-hand what it takes to win a personal injury case or reverse an insurance denial.
