More and more injection molding companies know about China market, they ask the price lower and lower, they cut the price again and again. So when they meet some dead-end price, they think it is too high. The company know too much mold makers from small size to big size even know knowledge about China injection mold market. they ask a lot of RFQ, high price, lower price..., they make a lot compare, they don't know how to choose, in the final they think all the price are too high. In fact the injection mold price has been lower a lot, but in they mind still very high.
The accumulator is very easy way to get faster injection molding. For giving example, the fastest injection times are 0.15-0.2 sec with 5 gram PP parts with accumulator injection unit. If you wish to speed-up the injection with accumulator be aware that your resin may not stand such injection pressure & speed and it starts to degrade. Also the higher injection speed increase the injection mold stress and standard mold will not last. The right injection mold design can be founded in packaging molds where injection speeds are the highest and injection molds are very rigid.
