In the first 18 years, we mainly involved inmanufacture of zipper machinery and output of a whole plantzipper factory. Our products were sold to over 20 countriesin the world. In 1991, we developed superb fully automaticcontinue zipper making machine, which won patents ofseveral countries and the 3rd Dragon Machinery Prize ofTaiwan. In the same year, our invisible zipper productionline was launched and since then we gradually changed ourbusiness from machinery manufacture to zipper production.In 1993, we set up Keen Ching Shenzhen factory in China,which is specialized in producing KCC brand invisiblezippers and quality spiral zipper for Europe. In 1996, wefound our Vietnam factory in Ho Chi Minh city, which spaced14,000 square meters with 10 million USD capitals and 1,000employees. Since the factory started operation in May 1997,it has been the base for global market. In 1999 we embarkedon R & D and we has developed 50-odd new varieties ofspecial products and gain a lot of patents over the world.In 2000, we got ISO 9001 certificate, then in 2004, KCCstarted to inducted ERP system into our group.To cope with the requirement for global operation, KCCTaipei moved our headquarter to the current office, whichis locate in the Chung Cheng Rd., Hsin Chuang city ofTaipei in May 2001. The headquarter mainly undertake theresponsibility for receiving export orders, outsourcing rawmaterials and R & D of new products. In July 2003, KCCestablished our largest factory with more completefacilities in Tongxiang, Zhejiang. This factory placed50,000 square meters with capital of 20 millions USD. Thefactory started operation in Aug. 2004. Its annual capacityis 200 million pcs of high quality zippers. KCC (Tongxiang)will offer more special products to China market.
