MEC are constructed with metallized polyester film dielectric, copporply lead, encapsulated in plastic case with epoxy resin sealed. They are suitable for filtering, by-pass, coupling, decoupling and timing circuits with application in telecommunication, data processing, industrial instruments and automatic control system equipment.
