1. COT developed many optical components in infra ray and ultra violate wavelength range including: Silica, Silicon, Germanium, Sapphire, CaF2, MgF2, ZnS, ZnSe, etc.
2. Though those materials often owned extremely high or low hardness coefficient, many material fabrication precision had been obvious improved by new machines recent years. COT changed traditional process methods and solved the problems for IR and UV material fabrication accuracy and precision. Therefore, COT raised IR and UV lens fabrication specification highly.
